2/01/2001 - Verizon ISP members unable to connect to BigBiz SMTP (outgoing mail) servers
Due to policy changes at Verizon, clients using Verizon to connect to the Internet will no longer be able to connect to BigBiz's SMTP servers.
From Verizon:
If you are utilizing a Verizon connection, you must use smtp.gte.net and a valid Verizon email address. Most internet service providers require that you use their specific settings. The purpose of this policy is to eliminate unsolicited email(spam) from being sent over the internet service provider's servers.
